The defense played a solid game against TDS, but unfortunately had a major break down on probably the biggest play of the game (Austin Collie reception on 4th & 18 on TDS's final drive).

Gary Andersen and the defensive coaches put together a great defensive game plan to stop the TDS. The players executed at a high level and the only flaw in the defense was the yards given up to Harvey Unga.

He is a great back and his abilities were likely underestimated.

Listening to coach Whit yesterday on 1320's Locked On Sports, they knew going into the game that they would be a bit thin up front on defense due to the schemes they implemented to shut down the passing game. Hall had a very crappy game, but came up big on that one play. In the end tho, the front lines for the U stiffened up and kept the TDS out of the end zone until the last drive.

I bet Sylvester practices on catching 50 balls a day on tip drill until he's perfect at it. He shoulda had it on the 3rd and long after R. Johnson batted it out of the receiver's hands.
